Reception for Vice Consul of Ireland Ben Headon and MIACC Launch

We are very pleased to welcome the new Vice Consul of Ireland in Chicago, Ben Headon, to the Twin Cities.

Ben joins us in the Midwest following a posting in Ireland’s new Embassy in Pakistan. Some more details on Ben are available here.

Ireland Network Minnesota will be hosting a conversation with the Vice Consul at DLR Group’s office at 520 Nicollet Mall from 4pm to 5:30pm.

This will be an opportunity to hear from the Vice Consul on the latest developments in Ireland and across Europe, which will be particularly relevant as Ireland currently holds the Presidency of the Council of the EU.

We will also be formally launching the Minnesota Irish American Chamber of Commerce, as the business networking and trade arm of Ireland Network Minnesota.

This event will be followed by a Happy Hour at O’Donovan’s Pub at 6pm for refreshments and a more informal chat and connections with the Minnesota Irish business community.

We are also excited to have live music from Gavin Strappe of JigJam, the internationally acclaimed Irish bluegrass band featured on the Grand Ole Opry.

Please RSVP by Wednesday October 7th.
